From what I'm reading, it has to do with applying the trade-in credit officially after they receive the phone and confirm the condition and value. My issues are (a) you can't show me $7.50/mo on one screen and then flip it to $30.56/mo the next screen, in combination with (b) not acknowledging the trade-in value on the payment screen.
That's just a bad/confusing customer experience that - even if I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt - looks like a bait-and-switch.
