Never been to Switzerland, would like to go one day. But man, sounds like a lot of tracking, different airline websites, & spreadsheets to find this deal! You're a little more hardcore than I am in finding deals.

4 nights @100k for HI Express in Switzerland will get me 25 nights at HI Express in China!
In case you did not already know, the IHG pts needed for a stay changes all the time. And you can cancel-and-rebook pretty easily with the lower pt cost. Sometimes, its 1k swing, but I've personally seen 7k swings (or about 2 nights at a HI Express in China
)
We told the kids to plan on a family trip this Christmas or next year. Debating between the European Christmas markets; China or Taiwan for Chinese New Years (got to believe China wouldn't launch an invasion during CNY); or Tokyo (so wife can do the Tokyo marathon). All IHG hotels, of course.
