These aren't just FU Trump moves. Despite how the media portrays it the US is still leaving a considerable number of tariffs on Canada. The others are also not removed, just delayed. There are also additional tariffs scheduled in a week or two I believe, and even more threatened for April 2 on top of the ones that were just delayed to that date.

Throw in continued threats on our sovereignty and the start of anti-Canada propaganda from US politicians and media and why on earth would it be a surprise that we would continue to defend ourselves?
