His backstory is a little more complicated. I believe the LCSO officer is his step-mom. He was born Christian Eriksen and is a dual Norway-US citizen. About a decade ago, his mom was jailed for removing him from the country and has had no contact with him since then. Hence, the new name "Phoenix" (how original). Ikner is the dad, I believe, and has been in custody dispute with the bio mom for pretty much the kid's entire life.
