Just as large a chunk says he was left leaning queer who was dating a person transitioning into a female. I think people are falling into selective information points that caters to their own views. Personally, I don't think the hard evidence shows either way. The pictures and videos out of Twigg (the roommate) does suggest at least a gay male. I have no idea if the Venmo that people have dug up of people helping donate money for "medication" was for the purpose of transitioning or not, or even that was actually this person. The numerous police sources could be lying, or they know the facts because very report says this person is fully cooperating and they would have told them their relationship to the shooter. The shooter wouldn't be the first person raised in a strict conservative Christian home that was gay and broke with their families politics. Nor the only gay male that is a gamer and chronically online.
I put nothing passed this administration, but the roommate is eventually going to talk to someone. The truth will come out eventually.
