Yep, was in the bathroom somewhere during a visit to our son last week and someone was doing this in a stall. Considered yelling “you know he’s taking a shit while talking to you, right??” but opted not to.
Today we went to the corner Mexican place and damned if a guy didn’t come in alone while talking on speakerphone (phone was cranked up LOUD), grabbed a menu and sat down then ordered, ate, and left all while that phone was going (he didn’t talk much, mostly the chica on the other end).
At a BBQ place while on our trip a guy (I think it was a guy, wife wasn’t sure) ate by himself and looked like he was talking to someone the whole meal, but at least that was with earbuds and in the bar part of a fairly loud place so we didn’t hear anything. (The Mexican place we were the only early birds there.)
