Doesn't help you any but this is the second time in the past couple weeks where I've been shocked to hear that situations like this -- school coach is also private paid coach for his own players -- are allowed. Came up on social media in another state & I was stunned to learn that was even a thing.
That's banned in Georgia -- not via the "can't pay" route but via the "out of season practice" limits -- and has always been banned as far back as I can recall. I had no idea those situations were allowed anywhere until recently, still completely boggles my mind. (whatever northeastern state I first heard about it, apparently it's the majority of most baseball coach pay & many simply coach HS in order to get easy access to clients)
