FEATURED GAMES:

#3 Florida State @ Duke

As expected the Seminoles had no trouble knocking off a weak Duke team, 38-12. They didn't destroy them like they could have, which would probably help them out a bit. That ends the undefeated regular season at 11-0! Now they must sit back and hope they get that invitation to the National Championship game.

Florida @ #2 Georgia

The Georgia Bulldogs, #3 in the BCS rankings, and the team I think is going to win it all takes their undefeated record against SEC rival Florida. After the Gators scored first in the first quarter with a 34-yard FG, the dominant Bulldogs rattled off 40 unanswered points after being shutout in the first quarter! QB Lee Tubbs (16-25, 192 yds 1 TD) to WR Tyrell Phillips (7 rec. 100 yards, TD) was too much for the Gators to handle.
Final score: Georgia 47, Florida 13.

#3 USC @ #10 Notre Dame

The Trojans complete half of the impossible, winning in South Bend, 30-10. This hurts Georgia's chances especially if USC can win in UCLA next week. That is going to be a huge game. That is the 2nd loss for the Irish this year and ends any hopes of a BCS bowl bid. Good season, nonetheless for CB Percy Lyon's school.

***So, Georgia still can't sneak up there. They wil now depend on UCLA beating USC in the final week! Florida State is the all-around undisputed #1 and they are a lock for the big game. Or are they? Texas is finally getting some respect as they move to #4.

A couple HUGE games next week:

USC @ UCLA
If USC wins this game they deserve to be in the big game.

Georgia @ Georgia Tech
[i]The Jackets would love to play spoiler. Unfortunately for the Dawgs they need a USC loss as well.

Should be fun. NFL coming after class tonight.
