Week 11 Preview: Paris At Maassluis
The Musketeers are coming to the city, people are getting ready for this must one to stay in the divisional title race. The team is healthy, with only backup running back Seth Kinney inactivated over his misterious hamstring injury. Justin McDavid and Randy Harris promised not to fumble too much against Paris, but promises are no guarentee. Statisticians at the Merchantmen office figured out the Maassluis defense ranks amongst the top 3 in yards per attempt allowed league wide, being a top 8 team in both yards per rush, yards per pass attempt and yards per completion allowed. The Paris offense has seen those skills at their own place, winning with a marginal 3-point victory. Big news is the return of Cecil Doney, the backup defensive end has finally healed from an hamstring injury sidelining him for half of the season. With Dennis Preciado and Harold Hurtado anchoring their sides of the ball, things look good again.
Gossip News - Merchantmen GM Back In Office
The general manager of the Maassluis Merchantmen is back in the office, our anonymus sources report us. Some sources report that an engineer was flown in from a small island from the coast of the Netherlands to fix the laptop of the GM, but we suspect his hangover is done and he's been denied by the local cheerleaders. Still, with or without their GM, the Merchantmen are a 1-8 team heading towards a 3-13 seasonal record to clinch a top 3 pick in the first amateur draft of the IHOF. Odds of Maassluis taking a quarterback who can avoid fumbles seems to be their number one need.
