Very nice - all of the interpretations of the clues are correct. I was going for something a bit different with the Ripken clue though:
"They killed Kenny...you bastards!!"
(RedKingGold actually made a critical connection in another thread)
Now - the trick is to find what the players represent (or, conversely, what represents the players) and to find out what purpose the lovey dovey lines serve. This is where there is a little room for misinterpretation. Stick with the obvious as much as possible.
