30 minute mark: Cook passes to Rooney.. he dribbles past a defender.. into the box.. shoots.. over the bar.

32 minute mark: Wellington pushed Cook.. yellow card for Wellington.. Cleyton argues the call.. gets his second yellow card.. he is ejected.

37 minute mark: Eagles passes to Fletcher in the box.. he shoots.. upper right corner.. good save by their keeper.

45 minute mark: Mamam passes the ball to Cook just outside the box.. he shoots.. wide right.


Halftime: 0-0 tie. I bring in the guys on my bench. Wood is among those, and is therefore getting his first real action with the big team even if it is a friendly.


54 minute mark: Wood passes to Duff in the box.. he shoots.. upper left corner.. the keeper blocks it.. Smith gets the rebound.. taps it into the right half of the goal! GOAL!!! 1-0 lead.

89 minute mark: Duff dribbles down the left sideline.. crosses it long to the far side of the box.. Schreurs with a diving header.. the ball sails.. into the upper right corner! GOAL!!!! 2-0.


Game over. 2-0 win. Another good tune-up.
