If your PC is hyper threaded that helps a fair bit as it means it can play multiple matches at the same time which speeds things up considerably (if you've a TRUE multi-processor system then it'll fly, I dream of getting a quad-processor system one day and then maybe I'll venture beyond running 4 nations at once in my own games
).
