I'm halfway through the second season, only just started a week or so ago. GTA:SA on the PC has taken most of my time.
You should be fine with another nation or two in there. Portugal is a good choice if you're aiming to have the top leagues in, Porto won the CL a couple of years ago, Sporting in the UEFA Cup final this year, Benfica a good sized team too.
From what I understand of 'full details' it's on for any league you are managing in, so I left it as off for all the other nations. Got a feeling it will slow things down a great deal.
