20 minute mark: Boogaart with a very good defensive play of Defoe.

22 minute mark: Lorentzen with a hard shot.. Howard parries it.. Defoe shoots at the open net.. Salva dives.. blocks it wide of the net! GREAT play by Salva!

28 minute mark: Salva passes it to wood at midfield.. he passes it to king who is 30 yards out.. king takes two dribbles.. shoots.. upper left corner.. the keeper can't get to it.. GOAL!!!! 2-0. That is King's 10th of the year.

32 minute mark: Quick pass from Fletcher to Godoy to Wood to King in the right corner of the box.. he dribbles past one defender.. shoots.. upper left corner.. the keeper misses it! GOAL!!!! 3-0. King has his hattrick!

37 minute mark: Schmidt intercepts their attack.. passes it to Fletcher.. Fletcher with a great through ball that has a bit of backspin.. stops just inside the box.. McFadden gets to it.. shoots.. upper left corner.. GOAL!!!! 4-0. That is McFadden's 15th of the year!


Halftime: 4-0 lead.


57 minute mark: Cahais on for Boogaart who is very tired.

68 minute mark: Rooney on for McFadden. Time to help him get his legs back.

81 minute mark: Lorentzen passes to Borghi who heads it to Defoe in the middle of the box.. he shoots.. upper left corner.. Howard dives but misses it. GOAL. 4-1.

83 minute mark: Fletcher passes to Rooney just barely inside the box.. he shoots.. upper right corner.. the keeper blocks it.

88 minute mark: Wood collides with Borghi.. Wood is hurt.. he has to be carried off the pitch. I put Wright on for him.


Game over. 4-1 win for us.
