Michigan - Michigan State - Iowa - Pitt - California Top 5
Fans in Michigan are definitely pleased!

Stickney - Kansas does not play this week

Stoyanavich - Temple starts out the season at Stanford, body donors for a nice cash payment. They lose 56-20 and are glad to just get some points on the board. Orlando gets a measly 1 catch for 3 yards in a game with little passing.

Rolle - Eastern Michigan does not play this week.

Griffith - Nevada does not play this week.

Dailey - Cincinnati does not play this week.

Week 2
Oklahoma - Tennessee - Michigan State - Florida State - Michigan top 5

Stickney - Kansas travels north to Sol 8 school Sitka, who wallops them 41-24! The Kansas coach blames the jet lag, but who knows? Rodney gets no playing time.

Stoyanavich - Temple travels to Navy, a much easier opponent than last week's, and gets their first win of the season, 29-23. Orlando makes a big splash as he is being used on kickoff return duty this season, as he records a 108 yard kickoff return for a TD! He also catches a 36 yard touchdown pass.

Rolle - Eastern Michigan doesn't play this week.

Griffith - Nevada doesn't play this week.

Dailey - Cincinnati travels up to the frozen north of Barrow to face the Solecismic 8 school. The Bearcats come home with a 35-25 win under their belts. Wally Dailey doesn't get the start at DE, maybe because of his leg, but records 2 tackles and a sack.

Week 3
USC - Tennessee - Washington - Ohio State - Iowa top 5

Stickney - Kansas does not play this week.

Stoyanavich - Temple goes to Central Florida this week, and in a boring game, lose 7-0. Temple's QB Wilmes is just horrible. Orlando catches one pass for 6 yards.

Rolle - Eastern Michigan travels to Colorado State, where they are beaten 34-3. Bert ends up with 2 rushes for -2 yards, not a good way to start the year.

Griffith - Nevada does not play this week.

Dailey - Cincinnati takes on North Carolina at home, and survives a late rally for a 35-32 win. Wally has 1 tackle, 3 assists, and 1.5 sacks in a nice performance.
