I batted leadoff or 2nd most of last year, but I was also about 10-15 lbs lighter. I had very few really good shots (I can think of two I hit the fence on the fly). So I was really just hitting singles or walking to get on base for our heavy hitters.
I'm a little heavier and much stronger now, which may explain why I'm looking to swing more now.
