I'm requesting a phaser to protect the water supply this evening. Note that this is not a declaration of my night action - just putting this out there for the powers that be to make their determination.
If possible, I would prefer that my phaser status is not public knowledge - that only the sarge knows who he provided weapons to for an evening. But I would like the spawn to be working under the impression that there are armed men guarding the water supply, rather than just harmless me.
If a person with a phaser is not attacked, then it is not used and can be re-allocated the next day, correct?
