MIDDLE TENNESSE STATE
(continued)

Offense: The Blue Raiders run a Run N Gun offense and rely on QB Charley Moore. The OL has some weak spots and struggles at times. OT Charlie George is their best option and most of the successful plays rely on his protection.

Defense: The Blue Raiders also run a 4-3 defense and rely on CB Michael Lopienski. Their defensive line is in a tough spot as it will be counted on all season. While this unit certainly gives a great effort, it simply lacks the talent to post much of a threat.

Key matchup

Middle Tenn St secondary.
The Blue Raiders defense has held opponents to just 185.7 passing yards per game and ranks No. 10 against the pass nationally.

Troy TE Tom Nix
Nix has caught 6 of 12 passes thrown his way for 82 yards and 1 touchdown. He's made 0 great catches and has averaged 13.7 yards per catch.

Offense: MTSU <<
Defense: Even
ST: Even
Overall: MTSU <

Line: Even

I don't know, MTSU really looks better than us talent wise and has a really good secondary. Smith gets his first start at QB and I hope his success continues. Should be a hard fought game though. We played well at home against Akron.
