Notes

- Freshman Braxton Justice (Spanishburg, W.Va.) won two events for the Wasps, taking the lead in the final 25 meters of both races. He went :58.81 in the 100-meter freestyle and 1:15.79 in the 100-meter breaststroke, winning the breast by just 0.1 seconds.
- Freshman Tariq Gardner (Richmond, Va.) was second in the 50-meter freestyle (:26.23) while freshman Blake Madaris (Acworth, Ga.) swam a 2:34.40 to finish as the runner-up.

Overview

Brett swam the 400 Free a little faster than he did earlier in the season, but he still posted a pedestrian 5:22.27. He immediately got out after the 400 and raced the 100 breast, which was slightly better than his swim from Saturday last week, but no where near as good as his Friday swim - 1:22.32. Brett also mentioned that they started lifting again last week, so he's extremely sore right now. Hopefully, he'll take the taper well and will perform at the ODACs next month.
