Those "random day 1 votes" are often put on candidates for lynch who often get lynched or get "saved" as we tend to go for two or three way ties late in the voting day. Whether the person who gets lynched is a wolf or not, it gives us some info and perhaps reason to be suspicious of some of those "random day 1 votes". And that should be able to generate some level of discussion at least.
