-cultural (History Center and High Museum of Art that we probably won't make it to)
-scientific (really large aquarium, zoo)
-pop cultural (CNN Center, World of Coke)
-sporting (all 4 sports and Olympic Centennial park)

I have been so pleasantly surprised and definitely recommend it as a tourist destination. The attractions cut across the spectrum so there is probably something for everyone.

(Our days- Sat:Carter/Braves, Sun:MLK/CNN, Mon:Aquarium/Coke, Tues:Other- wife wants to see Margaret Mitchell House while I thought I'd go to the Federal Reserve Museum across the street and then we have to fly home)

Yeah, there's tons to do here. I also recommend Six Flags, if that's your thing.

High Museum has a really cool exhibit now called Allure of the Automobile.

One of the coolest attractions in Atlanta right now is Dialogue in the Dark, where you get to experience what it's like for a blind person. You geta tour guide who is blind and you move through different rooms, having to find your way around and figure out where you are. It's a fascinating experience.
