1998 Minnesota Vikings (15-1*, 4-1) at 1971 Miami Dolphins (10-3-1**, 4-1)
Despite having absolutely no answer to POG Larry Csonka (233 yards, 1 td), the Vikings stayed in the game with a balanced attack. Cunningham (268 yards, 2td), Robert Smith & Leroy Hoard (110 yards, 1 td). However, it was RB Jim Kick’s 3 yard run with 1:59 leftin the fourth that put the nail in the coffin. Minnesota loses a heartbreaker 30-27.

Both Jim McMahon and Dave Krieg had subpar games throwing 2 pics apiece. The Bears were down 17-10 early in the fourth quarter, but Walter Payton and Jim McMahon had rushing touchdowns in the closing minutes of the game. The Bears hang on in a close one and win 24-17.
1972 Miami Dolphins (14-0*, 4-1) at 1985 New York Jets (11-5, 4-2)
The Dolphins are completely outplayed by the Jets. Ken O’Brien threw for 244 yards, New York dominated time of possession (34 to 26) and doubled up on first downs (24-12). However, fumbles, a key Ken O’Brien interception and several penalties kept Miami in the game. Dolphins win 16-6.
