This Gridlock team is LOADED. They've got serious weapons on offense, and a very strong defense. As you can see, they led the league in scoring last year. I went into this game hoping to see what I had, and to be competitive. Here's what I posted at IHOF before the game:

On defense, do I gear up to stop Reagor, or Sutter/Weaver/Hayes? I think our offense is going to be good enough to have SOME success, but I don't see our defense stopping them too often. I'm thinking something like 35-24 Gridlock.

Man, a STUNNING and dominating victory over a very good team to open the season!
TUCKER WEEK ONE 2012: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly
THE GOOD - Shaun "The Solution" Ducan: He wasn't merely good or great this week. He was off the charts! Against a formidable foe, Shaun “The Solution” Duncan took control of this game from the beginning. Duncan was 3 for 3 with a TD in Tucker's season-opening 5-play, 80-yard drive that took only 2:17. The ever-egocentric one stunned the Gridlock defense from the early going, and never looked back. For the day, he was 14 for 23 for 261 yards with 3 TD's, 0 INT's. After the first week, he leads IHOF with a 139.6 QB rating.
- DEE-fense! DEE-fense! DEE-fense!: The much-maligned Tucker defense showed up HUGE. 2.93 yards per carry. 161 total yards. 18.1% third down conversions. 3 points. This was all against what many believed would be one of the best offenses in the league this year. The Gridlock managed to cross midfield just three times, and only entered the red zone once.
- Double-Duty Man: Keith Horne buried the Gridlock inside their 5 twice, and once more inside their 15. With his kickoffs and punts, Georgia's best field position all day was their own 31 yard line.
- Third Time Was A Charm: We converted 64.7% of our third downs today, contributing to...
- Ball Hogs: The offense refused to let the defense play very much, holding the ball for over 39 minutes. Nate Sutter was given no chance for any fourth-quarter heroics, as Georgia only ran three offensive plays in the entire final frame. The offense put the finishing touches on the Gridlock with a 20-play, 89-yard touchdown drive that chewed up 9 minutes and 37 seconds of the fourth quarter.
- Run Yourself Ragged: The running game is BACK in the T-U-C. 218 yards. 51 carries. 2 backs got over 100 yards on the day.
THE BAD
Uhhh....Keith Horne missed a field goal. That's about it.
THE UGLY - Shackles On His Feet Once Again: R.J. Ellard managed to get himself hurt again. He'll never become the marquee name that he should be at this rate. Before going down, he averaged 7.5 yards per carry.
All in all, it was a stirring performance by the Tigers in front of the home folks against a division rival.
Divisional Results
Despite Ted Wolf connecting on only 11 of 33 passes, Orlando defeated Conyers 24-17 at home.
