  • Losing to Anaheim at home is probably a harbinger of bad things to come the rest of this year for the Blizzard. They were the worst 3-1 team in the league, and lost their QB, the 1(1) pick this year, to injury for the year last week.
  • Traditional power Fairbanks shows the league that Ann Arbor isn't invincible, and that Ray-Ray Lyle CAN be contained. That's a big win for Fairbanks.
  • Chesapeake, with #1 QB Ron Lyle sitting out for a few weeks, reamins unbeaten wih tthe OT win.
  • OBX may be in trouble this year. Asheville faded down the stretch last season, but looks less likely to do so this year, and is off to a fast start while the Ospreys are floundering. No surprise to see Frederick doing well, though.
  • Syracuse finally picks up their first win. They've got their work cut out for them if they're going to make it back to the postseason.
  • North Plainfield wins a key game on the road. They've recovered nicely from their 0-2 start.
  • Boston humble the pretenders from Paris. Good to see former Tigers Steve "Slammer" Stokes and Seymour Barber having bad games in that one for Paris.
  • Maassluis has surprised some by emerging as the early #1 in the AOC, and continues their unbeaten season with a nice win over a contender.
  • Don't count San Antonio out of it, ever! They recoever nicely from three straight losses.
  • After the Week 1 drubbing at the hands of Tucker, the Gridlock have emerged as a team capable of dominating people. It really isn't that surprising to see them easily handle a good Vicksburg team. Despite how we manhandled them in our place, and Maassluis being undefeated, I still see the Gridlock as the favorites in the AOC
