So far, definitely. Not having to change so many parts has been huge. Next year will prove to be difficult. Davis and Woods are gone, as is Sandy, the glue of the defense. The core would be Jack, Hulett (a damn hothead from whom you don't know what to expect), Armbruster (who has been awesome in stretches, and disappears in others...he's a freshman, though), Grayson (who has lost time as the season has gone on), and Hector (who has disappeared in Davis' shadow). No idea what the next class will look like. Michael King, a O/G sophomore who played in 29 games as a freshman, has played in just six this season. That's alarming, as he'll be the first guard off the bench next year, unless GW picks up some solid talent.
I am a little concerned that this may be Jack's best chance at a title, at least until the pros. He's kind of in a funky recruiting cycle. I intend on doing this again with a different region.
