11 - Willett runs down the longball from Jahraldo-Martin, keeps dribbling, and crosses across the front part of the box. It's intended for Kirwan, but it rolls long to Peters. He takes it, rushes forward, and crosses back left to Jahraldo-Martin, and the flummoxed goalie watches our left winger's first goal of the year roll on by 2-0

17 - Too good a team to be shut out, and bleh on corners 2-1

40 - Jeremy's free kick on the right side floats horizontally into the box, and Grey Guy DC scores, because everyone ignored him!!! :o 3-1

63 - We have to go asymmetrical on the backline by bringing in a grey guy DC to replace the tired and awful DR. Grey guy on ML too.

75 - Henry jogs on for Willett

Every full-time starter except our keeper had 7 or higher, with the 7.5+ guys Alric Cochrane (7.5), Grey Guy DC 7.7, and PotM Reece Peters, a former grey guy himself at 8.4!

Despite the loss, they still clinch the division title, and manager Marc Nesbitt, who has had stints at three different Antigua & Barbuda clubs on both levels in the three seasons of this universe, enters the Antigua & Barbuda Hall of Fame. Not that it takes a lot - literally one division title or cup is enough to put you in the not so hallowed rankings.

Two games left, and we could finish anywhere from 3rd to 9th. It's that tightly packed a division. One thing that's a stone cold lock - we won't relegate.

56 - Willett comes in for Kirwan

77 - Our exhausted grey guys on the backline put in work, taking the ball away and getting it to Willett deep in their half. He dribbles, kicks back to Abraham, and the long ball goes to Henry's head in the box. Our third choice striker nods on it over the head of the coming out keeper, and the ball rolls into the net!!! 1-0

84 - That's a double yellow for Jeremy, and we swap out the grey guy ML, with Rahnaldo-Martin moving to his natural ML, Abraham moving to DM, and a grey guy on at DC to give us 5 at the back.

89 - Abraham passes to Willett, but the short give to Peters is stripped away. No worries, as Willett gets the rebound and cracks a 30 yard cannon shot into the net!!!! 2-0

8.4 and PotM for Randolph Abraham, 8.1 sub showing for Chesley Willett, and 7.9 for Calaum Henry as we overcome a suspension, a double yellow, and engage in some shenanigans tactically to pull off the massive victory!!!

We're now zeroed in on the 4th-6th range as a result of that win. A key match between 5th and 6th place happens the day before our final game. I'm pulling for a tie, because that clinches promotion playoffs for us.

It doesn't happen. 3-1 victory with ironically a player we're getting in the offseason as PotM with a pair of goals.

Now it looks like this:

5th place - Them - +6 GD - 30 points

If we hadn't gotten so badly screwed over in a couple games this season, we'd already have our playoff ticket punched. But now we have to earn it.

Once again, the guy we're getting scores 2 goals and is PotM. The irony levels are fucking killing me right now.

What hurts even worse? If we'd made the playoffs, our 11 new players would be suiting up right away.

Our spend shoots up from $15k to $50k, still well under budget as we literally brought in a whole entire new team. I'll delve more into it later - I'm just super fucking pissed right now.
