I currently have:

97 vessels out of a naval forcelimit of 208, and an army of 185k out of a forcelimit of 204k.

Allies:

The Turks
The Mamluks
Tunis
Great Britain

Vassals:

Papal states

Our colonial nations

Let’s look at the ledger

We are making the most money in the world and beating Ming China by around 36 gold monthly

We are the most developed nation in the world. We lead Ming by 150

We have the most manpower available in the world, with around 30k more than Russia

We are 2nd in the world with the most techs at 48, behind Tuscany at 49. Nations like Bremen and Venice are tied with us

We are tied with the Mamluks as the only two states with all 28 ideas unlocked. Many are at 27 or 26

Only five nations in the world have an Empire rank:

Ethiopia
Japan
Ottomans
Timurids
Us

Our top ten provinces by tax income:

1. Roma, 42.92
2. Napoli, 36.48
3. Garnatah, 32.19
4. Tirwal, 21.46
5. Malaga, 20.21
6. Cagliari, 19.31
7. The Azores, 19.31
8. Umbria, 19.16
9. Tlemcen, 19.16

1. Cagliari, 38.30
2. Roma, 29.62
3. Garnatah, 28.77
4. Umbria, 24.78
5. Ancona, 24.62
6. Tirwal, 23.80
7. Tlemcen, 23.80

Top Ten Most Developed Provinces in the World

1. Firenze
2. Qahirah
3. Venice
4. Amol
5. Roma
6. Constantinople
7. Prome
8. Garnatah
9. Patna
10. Beijing

And there you are!

We have 107 holdings. That’s about even with Austria, About twice G. Britain, fewer than Ming even after it was eaten a bit, a lot more than the Mamluks, and a little more than the Turks at 99, and twice as many as France

Top colonial targets that have at least 10 development in order:

1. Pontianak
2. Tauranga
3. Whangarei
4. Ambon
5. Banjar
6. Kendari
7. Benguela
8. Eora
9. Delaware
10. Chesapeake
11. Sakam
12. Manado
13. Poso

Of this list, two are N America, 3 in Australia, and 1 in Africa. The rest are in the Indies.

We have the largest army in the world, with Ming at 164k next. Only Russia and the Turks have more than 100k

With 59k I have more cavalry that any other force. The next highest amount of cavalry is Ming at 15k, then Khemer at 12k and the Turks at 10k. No one else has 10000 cavalry, which helps to illustrate that I have better armies as well. With the quality and Offensive ideas finished, it’s just going to be hard to take me on

After Ming at 106, with have the 2nd largest navy, although Venice is right behind us with 95, and Britain at 91

Top Ten Trade nodes in the World:

1. Beijing
2. Venice
3. English Channel
4. Lubeck
5. Girona
6. Alexandria
7. Hangzhou
8. Persia
9. Bengal
10. Sevilla
11. Caribbean

We dominate the 10th and 11 largest nodes in the world, and lead trade in Genoa and Cape

Trade Goods by Current Price:

5.25 – Paper
5.0 – Gems
4.50 – Tobacco, Copper
4.0 – Cocoa, Dyes, Silk, Ivory
3.60 – Cloth
3.50 – Fur
3.30 – Salt, Coffee
3.0 – Spices, Sugar, Cotton, Chinaware, Slaves, Iron, Glass,
2.50 – Livestock, Tea, Wine
2.12 – Incense
2.00 – Naval Supplies, Fish, Grain, Tropical Wood, Wool

We have the Trading Bonus (which you need to control at least 20% of the world’s trade and be the leader)

Tobacco
Cocoa
Sugar
Coffee
Fish
Wine

This includes bonuses like -1 national unrest for Wine, or +5% institution spread for Coffee and -25% spy network build against you from Tobacco. They tend to be minor but useful bonuses.

We are close-ish to these trade goods:

1. Slaves. We have 18% of the world trade and lead it.
2. Wool. We have 14%
3. Naval Supplies, 12
4. Livestock, 11
5. Cloth, 11

Many trade goods are in tons of places, and can be colonized, like grain, wool, sugar, and raw goods like Furs or Ivory. While some goods aren’t that common, like Tea, there are a lot of places that can get it. For example, we have some Tea in Brazil. But most of the rare goods that are manufactured cannot be found colonially.

For example, take Glass. Right now, there are 15 places in the world that specialize in the Glass trade. We have two. 11 total are European with 1 in Africa, and 3 in Asia. That’s a good example of as specialized production that cannot be upped by colonizing. Another example is Paper. Right now there are 39 out there. Many of them are in China. Europe has 14 of those, and nations like the Timurids and Bengal have many. We have three ourselves. You cannot add Paper to your Empire outside of targeting those provinces

Now there is one manufactured trade good for which this is an exception.

Chinaware.

Right now we have 23 Chinaware provinces in the world. However, there are some colonies in places like Taiwan, the Philippines, and the Indies that have the potential to be Chinaware making. So you could add some more. As of right now, that appears to be around 11. (You move to Trade Goods map, and then click on a province with that trade good , everything that has it lights up, and everything that could have it lights a different colors). These odds include 17% for Sakam on Taiwan, 8.9% in Bengkulu and 10% of Sumbawa. It’s unlikely you are going to hit it out of the park. And you may not want to. You didn’t come here for Incense or Tea or Coffee. You came here for Spices.

Great Powers

1. Andalusia
2. France
3. Turks
4. Austria
5. Russia
6. Timurids
7. Britain
8. Mamluks

See who’s out? Ming

4 Christian and 4 Muslim.
