A shot can be developed with enough practice, especially at her age. Experience with older/better players can teach her how to play when she faces those kind of players. The skills you can't teach, athleticism, hustle, desire to work hard and get better, confidence, etc, would be among my reasons for bringing up a player to a higher age group. I've seen a number of players who dominated their age group but didn't do well when they moved up. They were above the players at their age, but didn't have what it takes to compete a step up.

Sounds like AP could have that ability to play up. Hope she continues to work through the issues she will face as well as improving her skillset.
