2014 MVC Championship
(3) Northern Iowa wins the MVC tournament with an 81-74 win over (4) Indiana St. Congrats to Patrick Hutt (zinto) on the championship, 1 of what I hope will be the first of many for our FOFCers.
Postseason Predictions
We know that Northern Iowa has earned the automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. I still think that Wichita St. is a lock, along with Illinois St. I can see Indiana St. get an at-large bid to the NCAA's as well, but it also won't surprise me to see them in the NIT. I don't see any of our other 5 conference teams playing another game this season. I guess the CBI does sometimes take teams with losing records, which is the only shot that our two 14-17 teams (Drake and Loyola Chicago) have.
