Baltimore Ravens QB Tyrod Taylor was named the Offensive Player of the Week. Taylor was 19 for 26 for 420 yards and 5 TDs in a 56-24 win over the Jaguars. The 31 year old is now 185 for 176 with 2292 yards passing, 12 TDs and 6 INTs in 8 games. This is Taylors 3rd Offensive Player of the Week award in 45 career NFL games. Taylor is the NFL's All-time Yards per Pass Attempt leader.

Tennessee Titans DE Andre Branch was named the Defensive Player of the Week. Branch had 5 tackles, 1 assist and 3.5 sacks in a 14-7 win over the Steelers. The 31 year old now has 18 tackles with 2 assists and 5.5 sacks in 7 games. For Branch, this is his 2nd career Defensive Player of the Week award in 51 career NFL games.

The Cardinals have less then 0.1% chance of making the playoffs and no chance to win the division.

The San Francisco 49ers defeated the Seattle Seahawks 9-6. The 49ers were led by QB Marcus Mariota who was 22-40 for 269 yards, WR Antonio Brown who had 5 catches for 81 yards, K Giorgio Tavecchio was 3 for 4 in FGs including a 44 yarder and CB Dre Kirkpatrick who had a mention in the players of the Week. Seattle's RB Elijah McGuire had 13 carries for 87 yards while G Frankie Ellison was 4-11 in blocks and 0 SkA in a losing cause.

The Washington Redskins defeated the Arizona Cardinals 23-16. Arizona DE Noah Spence had 6 tackles and 1.5 sacks in the loss.

The Seattle Seahawks will be home to the Dallas Cowboys (3-4) in Week 9.

From the trainers room:

WLB Lamar Havran was diagnosed with a hyperextended elbow during the loss to the 49ers. Havran will be out of the line-up for the Cowboys and it is expected it will be up to 3 weeks before he is 100%.

WR Laquon Treadwell is still considered doubtful as he recovers from his Turf Toe injury sustained during Week 2. Treadwell's recovery time is still considered unknown and he has been limited to just 2 games this year.

SLB Lavonte David is considered questionable as he recovers from his stained hamstring sustained during Week 4. David's recovery time remains unknown and David has now missed 3 games as a result of the injury.

RG Frankie Ellison is considered probable as he recovers from his hyperextended elbow sustained during Week 5. With a very low risk to re-injury at the time, Ellison will continue to play and he has not missed a game as a result of the injury. He is expected to be 100% in one more week.

RDE Ezekiel McDonald is considered probable as he recovers from his bruised sternum that he sustained during Week 2. With no risk to re-injure, he will continue to play and has not missed a game due to the injury. He is expected to be 100% with one more week.

MLB Kennedy Rankinen has fully recovered from his broken clavicle sustained in EX WK 4. Rankinen missed 6 games as a result of the injury but played in the loss to the 49ers.
