After analysis of the Rams defense, the Seahawks will throw a few more running plays in the game plan to try to take advantage of the weaker run defense. When passing looking to try to keep to shorter passes vs risking the good long pass defense of the Rams.

Both teams had two 3 and outs before the Rams moved the chains for the first time in the game. Starting at the LA 10, QB Derek Carr passed to WR Jamison Crowder for 11 yards to the LA 21. On the next play Carr went to Crowder again for 14 yards to the LA 35. On 2nd and 5, RB Louis Grenier rushed 6 yards to the LA 46 and a first down. A few plays later Carr and RB Clifton Nabonsa hooked up in 3rd and 2 for a 3 yard pass and first down to the SEA 43. On the very next play on play action QB Derek Carr completes a pass to WR Nelson Adholor for 23 yards to the SEA 20.
