Time to check out some streets. I head into Castelia Street, beside the P Center. I find a tower here with a Game Director who wants to see my Pokedex when I fill it up a lot. Another wants a Pokemon battle when mine are really strong. I buy a few Fresh Waters from a vending machine. Another building has a person on the ground floor who does Pokemon massages. Some dude gives me TM44 Rest.

I then arrive at a town square/circle thing. Several streets empty here. I get into a fight with a local. Foudre’s Flame Charge vs Pansage. I get 672 yen. I am asked to grab some other dancers to make a team, so I am on the lookout for dancers.

I head up and find some buildings in another street. Someone at a party upstairs gives me TM45 Attract. Pretty useful. I think I found a dancer so I head back. I don’t have any special dialogue, so I run back and check out another building. I find a scientist who invented a secret machine, and if I know the password… I’ll have to return later. I get an Eviolite from a scientist. What is that? It looks like it’s a useful hold item early on. I give it to Lazyeye.

I’ve arrived at Route 4, without fully exploring the city. There’s a heavy sandstorm here. I head out and run into a level 16 Scraggy. Paralysis from Foudre. A Poke Ball captures it.

I like the double type, but I don’t have room for another fight Pokemon. For example, it’s a fighting Pokemon immune to psychic attacks, normally its weakness.
