Around the League
1985 Chicago Bears (15-1*, 3-2) at 1984 Seattle Seahawks (12-4, 2-4)
Both Jim McMahon and Dave Krieg had subpar games throwing 2 pics apiece. The Bears were down 17-10 early in the fourth quarter, but Walter Payton and Jim McMahon had rushing touchdowns in the closing minutes of the game. The Bears hang on in a close one and win 24-17.

1972 Miami Dolphins (14-0*, 4-1) at 1985 New York Jets (11-5, 4-2)
The Dolphins are completely outplayed by the Jets. Ken O’Brien threw for 244 yards, New York dominated time of possession (34 to 26) and doubled up on first downs (24-12). However, fumbles, a key Ken O’Brien interception and several penalties kept Miami in the game. Dolphins win 16-6.
