It's getting ugly this season in Maassluis. We have a lot of good draft picks and today are negotiating with players to get about 4M of cap room free to be able to welcome our last five additions to go into the draft with 55 player signed and 7 draft picks sitting ready. Fine, you'd see, until I tell you we don't have the cap room for those picks!

Yes, we have draft picks, but if you can't pay your players, you're doomed. And we are. What room we have, I shall know after the renegotiations and the trades, but it is looking very ugly. It sounds like we need to ship our picks for future picks, no matter what. A solution would packaging all our picks for one high pick and future picks, but who would go for that?

Additionally, we struck a deal for an interesting player, yet can't reveal the name of that player. This player could be our solution for this upcoming season. For salary cap reasons, te deal won't be announced until all other Merchantmen deals have been processed.

For those wanting to see the numbers, we need 7.5M for our draft picks and are 110K under the cap with 50 players signed. Good luck, master of trading...
