CL Names Rookie of the Month

A veritable toddler to the Continental League,
Ray Rogers just sewed up the Rookie of the Month trophy for June.
Over the past month the 23-year-old right fielder for
Cleveland hit .297 with 30 hits, 12 home runs and 25 runs batted in. He also logged 10 walks and compiled a .360 on-base percentage.
This season
Rogers is batting .283 with 84 hits, 20 home runs, 57 RBIs, 49 walks, .389 OBP and has scored 55 runs. He has played in 82 games.
Rookie Honored by Republic League

It was an excellent month for
Don Hill. He really swung into action! The second baseman for the
Hartford Riverhawks was named June's best newcomer in the Republic League.
He captured the honor by hitting .327 with 34 hits, no home runs, 5 RBIs and 24 runs scored.
Hill is presently hitting at a .335 pace with no home runs, 21 RBIs and has scored 66 times.
