All good things come to an end. But what a season?!?!
Also there isn't a person on the planet that had El Paso v. Victoria vying for a title this year. Victoria's been out of the postseason for 11 years. Their last title came 13 years ago. El Paso had a modest 4 year playoff drought, their last title came 17 seasons ago.
One fan base will walk away happy, but either way, I think this year proved to me how much more fun the 16 team model was. I'd have felt that way even if I wasn't running the Cubs this year and they had the success they did. I liked how this turned out for teams that are underserved and if we're gonna have 40 teams, I'd like more to have a chance to at least taste the post-season unless it's a year with losing records...I'll probably amend the rules for those.
