Cleveland reliever
Pedro Polanco strolled in from the bullpen in 2212, it did not bode well for opposing teams. He usually put a quick end to any budding rallies. For his excellent mound work he was presented the Continental League Gabriel Prado Award today.
The Cyclones ace appeared in 75 games and saved 40 of them. He had a record of 9-4 with a 2.00 ERA.
Polanco had 35 strikeouts in 81 innings and limited opposing hitters to a .247 batting average.

The Gabriel Prado Award for 2212 has been presented and the Republic League winner is
Dale Wilbraham of
Hartford.
"It's always nice to receive an award like this," said Wilbraham. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Riverhawks star told reporters.
Wilbraham excelled with an impressive 18-6 record in 32 starts. In 217 innings he yielded 217 hits and 49 walks, while striking out 149 and compiling a fine 3.28 ERA.
