Contract Extension
-- Great news! We get a very reasonable contract extension with superstar striker
Paul Moses! We get a four year contract that sees his salary jump only £7,000 per week. Even better is the fact he doesn’t ask for a minimum release clause so we won’t be under any pressure from opposing clubs. Still, surprisingly enough, no one has ever made an offer on Moses in the few years we’ve had him.
Transfer IN
-- We add yet another superlative young talent, bringing in 17 year old left midfielder Jonathan Langlet from Le Mans FC in a £5 million transfer.
Langlet is a 1.5/4.0 talent, making him one of the brightest prospects in the game! He’s spent the last two years on loan, playing with FC Nantes in French Ligue 2 back in 2023/24 and with Greek Superleague club AO Skoda Xanthi last year. I plan on keeping him with our U18s for this year and then we’ll perhaps look at a loan assignment the next year if he still needs some time. He is wildly ambitious and states that today “is the best day of his life” and “he plans on making himself a firm favourite with the club’s supporters”. Nice!
