I think it adds to the tension of the show. BB does tense moments better than any other show on TV and so the flash forwards have the benefit of making you think about what may come next to lead to it (though the teddy bear in the pool one really came to fruition in a strange way!!).

I know, but this time they seemed to give a lot more away. The previous years it was just a vague scene with a teddy bear or something. You couldn't put anything together out of it. It's not a big deal since Breaking Bad is done so well, but I just don't like telling people where the show is going.
