Hawaii is pretty island dependent.
Oahu has some must tourist sees, but the best beaches there are away from Honolulu.
Maui is kind of classic Hawaii, with lots of beauty and big time resorts.
Kauai is my favorite island as well. Fantastic mix of nature and nurture. Though much of the nature can be fairly advanced, and not that kid friendly.
