I've spent a few months on Maui, accumulatively, including getting married there. I used to live on O'ahu, as well. I have a few questions before making recommendations.
How are you with snorkeling/water activities?
Are you reasonably fit/interested in hikes in the jungle?
Do you prefer having an aloha lifestyle experience, or the white person vacation experience?
