GRPA State Championships – Quick Note

I have a quick note to post here, it doesn’t involve my kids, but it is worth reading. On Friday, at the 10U portion of the meet, a friend of ours daughter swam in the 25 free in a time of 13.03. She ended up heading into the finals tied for the second fastest time, with a girl who swam in a different heat. In the finals, the two girls that tied for second, tied again, in a time of 12.65, which not only won state, it broke the GRPA record for that event.

I found this astounding, that the same two girls can swim exactly the same time, twice in the same day…
