Take any 3 people in this game on day 1. There is a basically a 50/50 chance that one of the three is a werewolf (51% all villagers/49% a least 1 wolf). It gets better.
On day 2 you have 6 villagers and 2 wolves. So in any random group of three there's only a 42% chance that all three are villagers. So it would have been a safe bet with any permutation of players to bet that at least one is a wolf.
