Just as an example, I started in Skyrill North on one of the better teams in that league. Was fired after 18 months. Have run through nearly a year of the game unemployed and have applied to 10 of the teams in the North/South (same league I was pretty successful in despite being fired). No hires at all.
I'm going to start again and give it another try in that league. We'll see how I do. I've never started above the lowest league in any other version of this game and I'm not about to stop now! Plus, everyone else can feel good about their success while watching me struggle.
