Portuguese explorers have drawn a map of the "New World" for
King Ohimalpopoca that gives the Aztec leader the first glimpse into his surroundings. He is astonished by what he sees and this "map" probably drove him to the belief that the Aztec's needed to expand.
The first goal would be to expand north...but the Aztec Navy has come a long way since it was "invented" so many years ago...and perhaps an expansion into the Pacific is in order as well?
