Along with other streaming live TV providers raising their prices, it shows that this business is difficult (and also I think shows that the reason cable was raising its prices may have been more because of the content providers and not only because they were trying to squeeze you).

The next step is likely various sports leagues or channels selling directly to customers. MLB is rumored to be looking into ending blackout policies - which would make MLB At Bat much more interesting. The question is when does the ESPNs make its main channels (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNNEWS, etc) available direct to customers.
