I'd be fine with that, since I am a villager.
In addition, to answer the question of why people weren't going back to voting for the Day 2 candidates is that basically, there was nothing very suspicious about us even then - and since then people have additional data on which to base their vote.
Some of that data includes the fact that there was no late attempts to save either me or PB. A minor tick in our favor, I'd say (not a big one, since wolves wouldn't want to be too obvious if they tried to save one of their own, but a small tick in our favor).
