Running behind today, Still online for work as the questions are not stopping (and some stupid questions at that)...
"What do we have to do to provide this application for client X?"
me - "What version is client X on?"
"I was told they are 11.5"
me - "That application is base in version 11.5, the other property had an earlier version and it had to be retrofit for that version but it is in 11.5 so nothing needs to be done on our side."
"They are on 11.5.2; what do we need to do to get it in there?"
(11.5.2 is 11.5 with 2 service packs applied...)
me - "Nothing, it is in base 11.5. They need to work with the 3rd party to get their database and process certified but our interface is in that version."
"So we have to do the same thing we did for the other property?"
me - (while banging my head on the freaking wall) "No, it is in their version, they need to work with the third party to certify it and synch with them at that point they turn our interface on to continue sending details to the third party."
"Can we have a meeting to discuss what we need to do for them?"
me (loading the gun) - "Sure"
