High School Meet - vs Central (and others) - RESULTS

# 1 M Open 200 Medley Relay B - Did the breaststroke, and swam a 34.32 split, not great but ok.
# 15 (d1/s1): M Open 500 Free (5:45.55Y ) - Didn't manage to get to his personal best from earlier this year (5:38), but did go a 5:40.85...
# 17 M Open 200 Free Relay B - This race was literally about 10 minutes after his 500 free...Brett did the leadoff leg and managed to exactly tie his personal best in a 50 free - 27.07. Obviously this means 2 things...First, he has to go harder in the 500 free. If he goes as hard as he should in a 500 free race there is no way he should be able to match his personal best in a 50 free less than 10 minutes later (heck he should probably still be breathing hard). Second, even though he didn't race the 500 free as hard as he should, given that he tied his personal best with little rest indicates his 50 free should probably be faster than 27.07...
# 21 (d1/s1): M Open 100 Breast (1:12.50Y ) - this event was about 10 minutes after the relay...and he was toast...only managed a 1:15.74
These high school meets are not an evironment where Brett will probably do extremely well. There is too much going on, and it is more of a fun atmosphere that's just too distracting for him. However, he really loves it, so if he stays close to his personal bests, then he's doing really well...
Also, the SFHS girls look like they are going to be extremely strong...as there are a large number of swimmers that already have state cuts after just 1 race.
