Last Step on the Moon Spectacular - UPDATE

I wanted to take a second to report that not only will I not see Brett's high school meet tonight, I will also miss the twins Gold meet, so I'll have very little insight into their Friday swims when I record the outcomes. The reason I'm going to miss the Gold meet is that I'm going to head up into the mountains to pick Brett up from his meet. Brett's last event is about 2/3rds of the way through the meet, so once he finishes that swim he can leave. Given that he'll be getting up early Saturday morning for the second day of the Gold meet, he requested I pick him up and take him home so he can get more sleep. I figure he'll get home about 2 hours earlier than if he road the bus, so I figure that's worth the effort (and a very mature decision for him).

I do feel bad, by going to get Brett I won't be available to do Bear's numbers in the 500...but he seemed ok with that (not happy, but ok).
